Hanoi – June 18, 2025, at the Dermatology Center – 108 Central Military Hospital, the seminar titled “Mirari Cold Plasma: Antibacterial – Anti-inflammatory – Wound Healing” was successfully held, attracting the attendance of numerous medical experts, hospital leaders, representatives from General Vibronics (USA), and Mirari Import-Export Joint Stock Company – the exclusive distributor of Mirari Cold Plasma devices in Vietnam.

Mirari Cold Plasma Technology – A New Advancement in Modern Medicine
General Vibronics Group invented and manufactures the Mirari device, distributing it worldwide including Vietnam. This device emits cold plasma rays. It won the first prize for wound treatment & care device at the Wound Care Award 2017 (JWC 1st Awards – London 2017) and the Best Poster Award in 2016 (Italy).
At the seminar, experts presented detailed mechanisms of Mirari cold plasma — a non-invasive treatment technology certified by the US FDA for safety and efficacy. Mirari cold plasma generates reactive oxygen and nitrogen species (RONS), which effectively kill bacteria, strongly reduce inflammation, stimulate tissue regeneration, and promote wound healing without causing thermal damage to healthy tissues.

Diverse Applications with Outstanding Effectiveness
During the seminar, clinical reports and photographic evidence demonstrated the clear effectiveness of Mirari cold plasma technology across many treatment fields. The device showed positive results in managing hard-to-heal wounds such as diabetic ulcers, burns, post-surgical wounds; effectively supporting dermatological conditions like dermatitis, eczema, nail fungus, acne, and psoriasis. Additionally, Mirari is applied in aesthetics for skin rejuvenation, reducing inflammation, recovery after cosmetic interventions, and providing drug-free pain relief for musculoskeletal and post-surgical patients.
Designed as a handheld device, it is easy to deploy in clinical wards and home care centers. Mirari cold plasma offers a non-invasive, painless treatment solution that leaves no scars and is safe for various patient groups including the elderly, children, and those with underlying conditions.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Tuan delivered an in-depth presentation on the mechanism, indications, and clinical benefits of cold plasma technology. He explained that the device generates reactive oxygen and nitrogen species (RONS) with strong oxidative abilities to eliminate pathogens, regulate cells, promote controlled cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis, thus aiding tissue regeneration and wound healing. Notably, the cold plasma output temperature remains below 40°C, causing no harm to living tissues.
Assoc. Prof. Tuan emphasized Mirari’s outstanding efficacy in controlling inflammation, antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral actions, including against multi-drug resistant bacteria without antibiotic resistance issues. Dosage can be adjusted for optimal effect while preserving healthy cells. He also noted the potential of cold plasma in skin cancer treatment by destroying diseased tissue and supporting radiotherapy and chemotherapy without damaging healthy tissues.

Clinical indications for Mirari are diverse: from treating acute and chronic wounds, dermatological lesions, burns, skin graft donor sites, to supporting pain relief (neurological, musculoskeletal, sports-related), anti-aging, pigmentation improvement, and managing skin diseases such as atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, acne, nail fungus, itching, and hyperpigmentation.
Regarding safety, the technology has been verified through numerous preclinical studies with no serious adverse effects reported. Side effects, if any, are usually mild and transient, such as redness, dry skin, itching, or temporary pigmentation changes. However, Assoc. Prof. Tuan advised against use in patients with pacemakers, severe infected wounds, or allergies to contact materials.
Compared to lasers, cold plasma causes less pain, requires no long downtime, and offers flexible control over treatment depth, minimizing risks of burns, scars, or pigmentation disorders. Assoc. Prof. Tuan stated: “Cold plasma is a safe, effective, and versatile technology in modern medicine. However, standardized protocols must be developed in Vietnam, especially in dermatology and wound treatment, ensuring proper indication, multidisciplinary coordination, and close monitoring in clinical practice.”
Commitment to Partnership and Development
Mirari Import-Export Joint Stock Company commits to providing advanced training for healthcare teams and collaborating with medical units in research, application, and technology transfer, contributing to improving community healthcare quality in Vietnam.
The seminar also displayed numerous before-and-after treatment photos using Mirari Cold Plasma on difficult wounds, nail fungus, inflammatory acne, atopic dermatitis cases, showing rapid recovery, reduced inflammation, and significant pain relief within just 3–7 days of use.
The seminar affirmed Mirari Cold Plasma as a breakthrough, safe, and effective solution opening new application avenues in treatment, care, and aesthetic medicine in Vietnam.
