This law stipulates the rights and obligations of patients; medical examination and treatment practitioners; medical examination and treatment facilities; professional and technical aspects in medical examination and treatment; medical examination and treatment by traditional medicine and the combination of traditional medicine with modern medicine; humanitarian medical examination and treatment, not for profit; transfer of professional medical examination and treatment techniques; application of new techniques, new methods, and clinical trials; professional technical errors; conditions ensuring the operation of medical examination and treatment; mobilization and deployment of resources to serve medical examination and treatment activities in cases of natural disasters, catastrophes, infectious diseases of group A, or emergency situations.
